Leads food and beverage employees and assists in the operation of a Class A food and beverage facility operated by the Parks and Recreation Department.
This is a lead position affording guidance to other positions performing the same tasks. This lead position also reviews workloads, assigns work and coaches employees with specialized instructions and practices for job accomplishments. Lead personnel may contribute to other employees' performance evaluations, assist with the hiring process by interviewing and making recommendations and providing input to supervisory staff.

Assists in managing daily food and beverage operations to maintain economical services in a clean and attractive atmosphere.

Organizes catering and banquet functions, works with customers to determine size of function, catering needs, cost, set-up required, special requests and services available.

Plans and develops menus for banquets and catered events, determines quantities to be prepared and served based on needs of customers.

Assures compliance with Arizona State Liquor Laws.

Inspects kitchen, dining room, bar area, and equipment for cleanliness and conformity with sanitary regulations.

Prepares invoices, collects and accounts for money received.

Maintains records of deposits, transfers, invoices and physical inventory.
Orders food products, alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages, and supplies.

Establishes and maintains effective relations with associate personnel and the public.
